 Panama City is located just to the east over the Hathaway Bridge that spans St. Andrews Bay so the weather is just like it is on the beach. There are exceptions when it is raining in town and sunny on the beach, but you can expect the same spectacular weather as in Panama City Beach. The year round mild temperatures and subtropical location make the entire area a favorite among travelers to the Panhandle of Florida. Make sure you pack the sunscreen for those trips to the beach regardless of the temperature as the bright Florida sunshine can burn you year round!

CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES ON NEW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Panama City, Florida – (October 30, 2008) – The Panama City – Bay County International Airport and Industrial District (Airport Authority) received a Final Order in U.S. District Court in the Florida Clean Water Network, National Resource Defense Council and Defenders of Wildlife’s challenge to environmental permits issued on the Airport Authority’s project for a new international airport in West Bay.
